How to Draw and Calculate a Lo Shu Grid Manually

If you want to understand the exact mathematical process behind our calculator, here is how numerologists manually map a date of birth into the 3x3 grid:

Step 1: Write Down Your Full Date of Birth

Take your birth date in DD-MM-YYYY format (e.g., 21-08-2000). Disregard all zeroes since zero represents an empty void in Lo Shu traditional rules.

Step 2: Calculate Your Driver and Conductor

Add your birth day digits together until you get a single digit (this is your Driver/Mulank). Then, add all digits of the full date together to get your Conductor/Bhagyank.

Step 3: Plot Numbers Into the 3x3 Grid Squares

Place every individual non-zero digit from your birth date, plus your calculated Driver and Conductor numbers, into their corresponding fixed positions shown in the reference chart above.
